As difficult as everyone says it is. Rewarding at parts.
Gothic, psychological, with a very compressed atmosphere. Love the movie and am happy to have finally read the book.

The first two thirds were great, the last, not so much. Still a good read.
Necessary to understand American diplomacy. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Weird and wonderful. Maybe more relevant now in the world of AI than when it was written.
